Survivor Care
Physical and emotional trauma needs to be addressed if survivors are to stand a chance at recovery and living healthy, fulfilling lives. That’s why we didn’t just speak about the sexual exploitation of children; we aimed to provide shelter and healing, and reintegrate survivors back into society.

In partnership with the PREDA Foundation, we funded the Victoria Home for Girls in the Philippines, a sanctuary for 80 at-risk girls and survivors of sexual exploitation (at any one time). There’s a play therapy room, complete with toys and books; and a recreation room for the girls to express themselves through art. A primal cry therapy room is used for the girls to release their anger and aggression. What’s more, the recovery program comes with education, family therapy counseling, and medical assistance. Legal help and child rights training empowers the girls to stand for their rights and seek justice.
