Straight Line to divide two sections


OneChild is every child.

It is the fulfillment of a promise and a symbol of solidarity. OneChild is the premiere organization inspiring a movement of children and youth leading the action against the global sex trade in children. Founded in 2005 by international children’s rights advocate Cheryl Perera, we believe all children--the world’s largest voiceless minority--must be free from all forms of exploitation and free to positively contribute to matters that affect us. Using the peer-to-peer leadership model, we engage fellow young people, including child survivors of commercial sexual exploitation in a global partnership through public education campaigns, advocacy initiatives and support to rehabilitation and reintegration efforts.

Welcome!

After learning about the global sex trade in children for a high school project, I was faced with a major conundrum: as a young person, I couldn’t find my place in the global struggle to end child sex slavery.  I decided to take matters into my own hands and with a group of friends, we started OneChild to give youth the knowledge, know-how, and the chance to lead the fight against one of the greatest violations of the rights of their peers.
